The Southern Fleurieu Health Service’s Emergency Department (ED) upgrade has taken so long it will barely cope with increased growth across the region – even if it opens this year.
That’s the prediction by Member for Finniss David Basham who believes the works will take at least until the end of 2025, despite the local health network CEO saying it’s on track for an August completion.
