Goolwa RSL’s oldest member, and one of the last local Korean veterans, the late Jack Heller, is being remembered for his warmth and sense of humour.
The 94-year-old was a member for about 15 years, and would attend the RSL most Friday evenings for dinner.
“They loved him at the club,” his daughter, Linda, said.
“You’d walk in and everyone would just flock to him.”
