Previously sunken boat to set sail for Wooden Boat Festival

A restored 1937 boat that was once sunken at the bottom of the river will be one of the pride-and-joys on display at the upcoming SA Wooden Boat Festival.

Curlew was originally built in Kingston by local fishermen who wanted something different to couta boats that were carvel-built, which is made from planks joined smoothly and not overlapping.
