The Rotary Club of Goolwa’s inaugural Carp-a-thon has exceeded all expectations with hundreds of people lining the banks of Bristow-Smith Reserve on Saturday.
Rotary spokesperson David McDonald said the turn-out was double that expected, with the fisher who caught the most carp landing 68 over the day, well ahead of his opposition.
