Macclesfield resident Rowan Voogt has replaced Meadows’ resigned councillor Richard Coombe on Mount Barker District Council.
The 28-year-old is known for an unsuccessful run for the seat of Heysen as SA Labor’s candidate in the 2022 State Election.
Cr Voogt will represent the community in South Ward after Cr Coombe quit his position last month for undisclosed reasons.
