Trucks of donated hay will soon be delivered to Fleurieu Peninsula farmers as they struggle through the worst drought in memory, thanks to a major fundraiser by local Lions clubs.
Goolwa and Victor Harbor & Port Elliot Lions clubs are fundraising for Need for Feed, which is a Lions initiative that has been supporting farmers in times of need since 2006.
