Local dryland farmers welcomed the rains that fell at the start of the week following heavy dust billowing across the district on the weekend.
According to the Bureau of Meterology, Strathalbyn recorded 17.4mm of rain over the 24 hours from 9am Monday to the same time on Tuesday morning.
