Woodchester farmer Brett Phillips has been in the business since he left school in 1991 and has never seen it be so dry for so long.
Mr Phillips, who is also the Vice-President of the Milang Ag Bureau, has recorded just 18mm of rain for the year to date, and says the uncertainty of the year ahead is what weighs most heavily on his mind.
