An annual planting festival in Monarto is growing, with this year’s goal of planting 58,000 seedlings across 29 hectares with the help of 850 volunteers – a 20 per cent increase from last year.
Hosted by Bio R, an ecological restoration charity, the annual festival takes place over weekends in June at Frahns Farm, a crown land site.
